DWRCS Overview

The terms DWRCS, MRC Client Agent, Client Agent, or Client Agent Service refer to the DameWare Mini Remote Control Client Agent Service which needs to be installed & running on the remote machine in order to establish a remote connect session. The files that make up the Mini Remote Client Agent Service are:

DWRCS.EXE

DWRCST.EXE

DWRCS.lNI

DWRCSET.DLL

DWRCK.DLL

DWRCShell.DLX (or .DLL)

DWRCShell64.DLL

•	Located in the System32 folder on Windows NT / 2K / XP / 2003

•	Located in Windows\System folder on Windows 95 / 98 / Me

•	Located in the SYSWOW64 folder on 64-bit Operating Systems (and possibly System32 as well)
