Панель управления Mini Remote обеспечивает удобный доступ к наиболее часто используемым возможностям приложения Mini Remote Control.
Открывает диалоговое окно Remote Connect (Удаленное подключение).
Allows the user to quickly reconnect to the previous connected Host (remote). You can also select the drop-down arrow to activate a popup of the previous 10 connections and pick one of these as well. *Note: By default, only Saved Host Entries are added to the Reconnect List. However, if you choose to add all entries to the reconnect list (configurable under Local Global Options), then this connection will be attempted using settings defined in the default Host Properties (View / Default Host Properties). Therefore, any Reconnect attempts to machines not explicitly defined in the Saved Host List may not work correctly.
Dynamically resizes the screen information proportionally to fit within the size of the current MRC connection window, eliminating the need for scroll bars. So basically, you will always see the remote machine’s "full screen" displayed proportionally within the MRC connection window, regardless of the connection window’s size. The Smart Sizing feature has also been greatly enhanced in version 5.x and above to allow improved visibility, no matter how large or small you resize the connection window.
This option is only functional under Windows NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista, and only when the MRC Client Agent on the remote machine is running as a Service (can also be done via the Send menu). This option instructs the DameWare Mini Remote Control program to send a Ctrl + Alt + Del keystroke to the remote machine.
This option locks/unlocks the remote machine’s keyboard & mouse during the current MRC session.
*Note: This functionality is not directly supported, and should be fully tested before relying on it in a production environment. The remote machine must also be running Windows NT4-SP3 or higher.
View Only allows you to only view the activities of the remote computer without send keyboard and mouse input.
Within DameWare Mini Remote Control, whenever the Use Windows Hot Keys option is enabled in the View menu, you will be capable of implementing three of the Windows Hot Keys.
These hot keys are:
*Note: This option is also available by selecting the Use Windows Hot Keys entry on the View menu. The remote machine must also be running Windows NT4-SP3 or higher.
Option to display the local cursor as a dot within the MRC window instead of the default cursor (most commonly an arrow). Commonly used in conjunction with the Show Remote Cursor feature.
Option to display the remote machine’s cursor within the MRC window.
Option to display the Warning Border about the MRC connection window. Allows for easier distinction between screens. *Note: This feature is not supported under Vista and will be disabled under Vista.
Opens the Local Global Options dialog. The Local Global Options are settings that control the behavior of your local copy of the Mini Remote Control application. These settings are Global to all connections & all Saved Host Entries.
Opens the Mini Remote Control program’s Default Host Properties dialog. Also accessible via the View / Default Host Properties menu. Changes made here will automatically be inherited by any new Host Entry created.
Open the MRC Client Agent Service’s Properties dialog (for the machine you are currently connected to) so you can make changes to these settings on the fly.
Initiates a ping (ICMP) request to the remote machine. However, beginning in version 5 you also have the option to attempt a connection to this remote machine upon receiving a successful MRC Server Service Ping reply. This "Server Service Ping" is not attempted via the ICMP protocol, it is done via a special non-ICMP connection attempt, which verifies that the MRC Client Agent is installed & listening on this remote machine.
Note:* The Mini Remote Client Agent is required to be installed & running on the remote machine in order to use the Connect on Server Service Ping functionality.
Allows the user to make changes to the default printer settings as well as print the current screen.
Allows the user to preview the current screen data, as well submit this information to be printed.
Terminates the current File Transfer (SFT) session (in progress).
Temporarily disable any screen updates over the MRC connection until the SFT process has completed. Helps improve the transfer rate of the files over slower connections.
Disconnects the current MRC connection once the current File Transfer (SFT) operation has completed.
Opens Windows Explorer for the current SFT download folder on your local machine. This directory is defined under the Local Global Options, on the Additional Options Tab.
Opens Windows Explorer on the remote machine for the current defined SFT Download folder. This directory is defined within the MRC Client Agent Service, on the Simple File Transfer (SFT) Tab.
Enables/Disable support for Transparent Windows, such as Tool Tips, Office 2007 button, etc….. (Windows 2000 and greater only). However, you can also connect via the MRC Mirror Driver instead, because these windows will be displayed over the Mirror Driver.
** Note 1: May increase bandwidth utilization. ** Note 2: May cause remote mouse cursor to blink or flicker.
Included in version 4.1 and later and applies to Shared Sessions (i.e. multiple users connected to the same remote machine at the same time). By default, when non-Administrators connect to a remote machine, they will be in "View Only" mode (see the "View Only for these Account Types feature within the Mini Remote Client Agent Service).
However, an Administrator can bypass this functionality, and allow all currently connected users to have control of the keyboard & mouse by selecting this button. Likewise, an Administrator can toggle the button again and all non-Administrators will revert back to View Only mode.
Displays a dialog box containing information regarding DameWare Development LLC and the DameWare Mini Remote Control. This dialog box also offers an option for registration of the program.
