The Display Options allow you choose the color depth for this MRC connection. This does not change the color depth on the remote machine, only for this MRC connection. Using a lower color depth could also dramatically lower the bandwidth usage of the MRC connection.

 

Also keep in mind these settings are only used for non-Mirror Driver connections.  When connecting via the Mirror Driver you must adjust your display settings (as well as compression, & scan block) on the Mirror Driver Tab instead.  The Mirror Driver also does not support Gray Scale.

Color Depth Display Options:

Remote Default Display uses the same color depth as the remote display
Force 4-bit Display = 16 Colors
Force 8-bit Display = 256 Colors
Force 16-bit Display = 32,000 Colors
Force 24-bit Display = 16 Million
Force 32-bit Display = 4 Billion Colors

*Note: Gray Scale can only be enabled with the 4-bit and 8-bit display settings.
