This is the special Reverse Connection feature of the Mini Remote Client Agent Service, which allows the console user on the remote machine (where the Mini Remote Client Agent is installed) to initiate a reverse connection back to the technician’s machine who is running the Mini Remote Control application. This functionality is especially usefull for help desk personnel, because it gives the person at the remote machine control over the startup of a Mini Remote session and the helpdesk person also does not require any NTFS rights on the remote machine.
The default TCP port used for the the Mini Remote Client Agent’s reverse connection functionality is TCP 6130. The technician/help desk agent must also be running the full Mini Remote Control application, and be waiting to receive the reverse connection (File / Accept Incoming Connection) in order to successfully connect.
